You may have seen our hex patterns up at our windows. In Mathematics, hex means six. That’s why a hexagon has six sides. We cut a circle into six equal parts and decorated them exactly the same. Then we turned the parts and returned them to a circle shape – some rotational symmetry. We think they look great!
What did you like best about doing the hex patterns? Did you use language like ‘slide’ and ‘turn’?
