Measuring is fun in LA4! We took water guns out onto the basketball courts yesterday morning and fired them to see how far the water would go. The boys had a selection of measuring objects to use – 1m rulers, 30cm rulers, popsticks. They needed to choose the most appropriate unit and then measure away. The video below shows the fun they had.
They then went on to generate some great verbs, adverbs, nouns and adjectives. Recount writing is next!
