Travel brochures are most definitely persuasive texts! They aim to persuade us to go to wonderful, exotic places and use carefully chosen language to make us think it would be good to to there. The Champs looked at some pages from a travel brochure today and wrote down the verbs that were used and any language they thought was persuasive. The next step? To write their own travel brochure.
