Arrays

We have been learning to use arrays to help us multiply.  Anything that can be put into rows and columns is an array.

5 x 2 can look like this:

First we investigated arrays in the school.  We found lots!  We used the ipads and took photos of the arrays we found.

Since then, we’ve made arrays with cupcake papers, played an array game on grid paper and made array cities.  We know lots about arrays now!
