Spiritual Song of the Aborigine

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Superstars have been discussing the connection that our first Australians, the Aboriginal people, have with the land.  We read and discussed this beautiful poem by Hyllus Maris, then created our own illustrations for it.  We hope you enjoy both the poem and our own work.

      Dear Miss Carey,
We are glad that you enjoyed our work. We really liked the poem about how Aboriginal people feel about the land. We painted the pictures, then our teacher photographed them. We used the app, Explain Everything on an ipad to add the photos and record our voices. We hope your class enjoy it too.
